Maricopa is a community just south of Phoenix, AZ partially surrounded by raw desert and American Indian tribal land where wild horses still roam free and John Wayne worked his sprawling Red River Ranch and Cattle Company in bygone days. My husband photographed this horse sculpture near our subdivision’s entrance.

Be Inspired #95 With Heartfelt Sympathy
I hadn't participated in a Cuttlebug Challenge in a long time, so decided I'd do a simple card for their Heartfelt Sympathy challenge this week. It's always a good idea to have a couple of these cards on hand. I wanted to keep it fairly simple, so chose to use my Provo Craft Textile embossing folder for the BG. I then simply added a couple of decorative stamps and pearls to my sentiment tag and secured it with a decorative braid I've had in my stash for forever.
Paper: Bazzill CS; SEI's Morning Meadow DP
Stamps: PTI's Round & Round (sentiment) and Vintage Labels
Ink: PTI's Dark Chocolate Palette
Embellishments: Kaiser Craft Chocolate pearls; Braid from stash
Tools: Spellbinders Wizard & Ribbon Tags Trio Two

Gorgeous....elegant card!!! wow!! The perfect sympathy card.
Wow, gorgeous! Love that braid and the shimmer paper, I have yet to get any shimmery paper, love the look.
This is really very pretty! I love the paper and you picked the perfect CB folder!!
This is a beautiful card! I love the shiny/shimmer paper and the gold is just to die for. Really fabulous.
Thanks for playing at the Cuttlebug Challenges!
Thank you! I happened to be online so I just thought i would write you back. Cutting out the embossing folder was not my idea - I saw it on a project, but when I went to go find them again - I searched for about 2 hours and couldn't find where I had seen it to give them proper credit! I will haven't come across it. Anyway, just thought you should know, but it is a fun thing to do with that folder! :)
So elegant and beautiful! Thanks for playing in our Cuttlebug challenge!
This is stunning! I need to try a card like this!
BTW, there's another Glimmer Challenge here, if you're interested!
