Wild Woodland

This simple side-opening matchbook card was one I made to share with my Designing Divas card group last month. We joined one of the Divas other card groups @ a local scrapbook store for a day @ the store of crafting, food, prizes & fun because our friend, Judy, had won 1st place in a contest there for 12. There ended up being 10 of us, so our project had to be fairly simple to re-create. This double-sided Tinkering Ink paper I'd purchased in Seattle over a year ago gave everyone the option to choose which side they liked best for their card!

Ink: PTI's Ripe Avacado

Pink & Brown Plaid Tulip Card

At the request of the Designing Diva who gave me this stamp set, I shared this half-fold Coluzzle card made with my Creative Memories system with our card group yesterday. I used Bazzill's gorgeous pink dotted swiss scalloped half-sheet paper and Martha Stewart stamps. I'd love to send you to the website where I originally found the tutorial, but it's currently unavailable. Every time I've tried to open it recently, it immediately shuts down. I'm hoping it's a computer glitch & will be operational again soon. If/when that happens, I'll gladly update this post!
Paper: Bazzill Pink Dotted Swiss Scalloped Half Sheet; PTI's basic white CS
Stamps: MS Acrylic Stamps from Wal-Mart; Stampendous (verse)
Ink: PTI's Dark Chocolate & Raspberry Fizz Palette Inks
Embellisments: American Crafts Ribbon
Tools: Creative Memories & Spellbinders Nestabilities

PTI June Blog Hop: Summer

My inspiration for this challenge is the bougainvilla plant that is under the window of my craft room. Because we had a cool, beautiful spring and cool start to our normally brutal desert summer, this plant is still full of gorgeous blooms that brighten even a gloomy overcast monsoon day like we're having today. Flowers always make us feel better, don't they?
Paper: PTI's White CS, Raspberry Fizz CS & Text-Style Raspberry Fizz Mix DP
Stamps: PTI's With Sympathy & Mixed Messages
Ink: PTI's Palette Noir, Ripe Avacado & Raspberry Fizz
Embellishments: Gems & ribbon from stash
Tools: Spellbinder Wizard; Labels Four & Curved Rectangles Dies

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge 9 by Dawn McVey

This is one of the more unusual cards I've ever dreamed up, but -- nothing ventured, nothing gained?!!! ;-) I've never actually seen PTI's Leaf Green in person, so I had to just "punt" at my green for this challenge. I don't even know which Bazzill color of green I've used as there's no label on my piece of cs, but here's the rest:
Paper: PTI's Vintage Cream CS; Scrap Works: Formal Affair DP; Bazzill green & black CS from stash
Stamp: Fiskar's Acrylic Turkey Lurkey Set
Ink: PTI's Palette Noir
Embellies: Black velvet ribbon, pom-pom trim & gems from stash
Tools: Spellbinders Wizard & Paisley Plain Nesties; SU's Photo Corner Punch
Thanks for looking; have a great day!!!

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge 8 by Dawn McVey

Time for Dawn's 8th color challenge; these are so much fun as they stretch your creative imagination. I needed a cute little card for a friend, so decided to do this last second!!! Used Birds & Swirls embossing folder, my Curved Rectangles Nesties and Technique Tuesday's Long-Stemmed Sentiments stamps, along with PTI's Raspberry Fizz, Vintage Cream and Kraft cardstocks and a chocolate CS from my stash. Thanks for looking!!!
EDITED TO ADD: Oops - blogger wasn't cooperating, so I was too late for the deadline! Oh well, fun to just throw together with these colors anyway!!! I'll take a better photo tomorrow when I have natural light -- CFL bulbs don't quite cut it!!!

Hello Friend from Papertrey Ink

Good morning, bloggers! I made this little card just for fun, because I love this glittery paper! I have to admit I have a terrible weakness for gorgeous papers!!! Hope everyone has a fabulous week!!!

Ink: PTI's Dark Chocolate & Tsukineko's Sky Blue Pigment
