Creating Memories in Time: ATC Tuesday

It's ATC Tuesday again for Creating Memories in Time -- I really hope you'll join us by making your very own Valentine-themed Artist Trading Card and posting it to our CMIT Blog (click above link and scroll down for InLinkz to link yours). Creating Memories in Time: ATC Tuesday

Bloggers, it's time once again for Creating Memories in Time: ATC Tuesday! With all the hustle and bustle to prepare for the holidays, I really hope you'll all take a break for yourself -- to not only visit our blog to see all the sweet ATCs our team has prepared this month, but also to make and post an ATC. This month I've chosen to leap right into a Valentine's Day theme. These sweet glittered  papers are My Mind's Eye 'Love Nest' -- aren't they fun?! You'll be seeing many more projects here soon using these. Full directions for my ATC are on our team blog.

Creating Memories in Time: ATC Tuesday

It's time for our monthly Creating Memories in Time ATC card swap. If you would like to participate, we'd LOVE to have you join us! Please stop by our blog and play along! We will accept entries until Friday, November 12th at midnight. We look forward to seeing what you create -- don't forget there is a prize for the winning ATC card. The design team will vote on a winner and the winning submission will be announced on Tuesday, October 19th on our Blog. 

Materials:
My Mind's Eye Signature Christmas Short Stack
QuicKutz - Sign die
Tim Holtz: Vintage Photo Distress Ink; Fired Brick Distress Ink; Idea-ology game spinner & fasteners
JustRite 15-pt. Times New Roman Alpha stamps
Instructions:
1) Cut glittered snowflake CS to 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
2) Round corners with corner rounder
3) Cut/Emboss die shapes from CS -- I cut sign post & North Pole sign twice/glued together for strength
4) Stamp signs (leaving space for spinner piece) & distress edges with Vintage Photo ink
5) Attach game spinner with brad & add brad to sign post
6) Attach workshop sign to larger backing piece with foam tape & glue to sigh post
7) Attach sign post & North Pole sign with with foam tape
8) Add glue dot to workshop sign for stability

Creative Memories in Time: ATC Tuesday

Creating Memories in Time is hosting our first ATC card swap. Here is my first ATC. Stop by our blog and play along! Hope you enjoy our first ATC Tuesday and come back again the 2nd Tuesday of every month!!!

Materials:
Spellbinders - Graveyard Scene and Shapes dies; Witches Brew die; Standard Circle Die; Gold Premium Craft Foil
Tim Holtz: Vintage Photo Distress Crackle Paint
Copic Markers

Instructions:
1) Cut cardstock to 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
2) Cut/Emboss die shapes from foil & CS; cut grave piece to 2 1/2" to fit card
3) Use rubbing alcohol to remove paint from foil for silver grave marker highlights
4) Color crow and plants with Copic markers
5) Cover bottom "dirt" area with crackle Paint & set aside to dry
6) Attach shapes to black CS
