Maricopa is a community just south of Phoenix, AZ partially surrounded by raw desert and American Indian tribal land where wild horses still roam free and John Wayne worked his sprawling Red River Ranch and Cattle Company in bygone days. My husband photographed this horse sculpture near our subdivision’s entrance.

Mojo Monday Sketch #203: Birthday Flea Market Style
I can't seem to leave this Flea Market (Colorbok) paper alone! Inspired by the Mojo Monday #203 sketch for this week, I now have another much-needed birthday card for my stash.
Starting with Papertrey Ink's Kraft CS, I added a rectangle of the DP, a Big Scalloped Circle LG Spellbinders' die cut from their glitter paper pack and a hand-cut "varnished" rose. Accents include a punched scalloped edge and Copic-colored lace sewn on by machine, as well as a "rose vine" corner and tiny floss bow.
My sentiment is also from Papertrey Ink and I hand cut it to fit in with my main image.

Super pretty, Marge! I hope to start making some cards again soon!
Marge, I love this card. The dp you used is so pretty. Is the fancy edge at the bottom lace or a punched edge? Love it!
WOW! You have been busy! LOBE the leaf vine and the flower and the lace! So PRETTY!
