My Sheri Crafts Challenge #119: Native American Day

Our new challenge @ My Sheri Crafts is to help us celebrate Native American Day which is September 27th.

My card uses two unmounted Native American stamps that I've had for many years and unfortunately I do not recall their origin. I stamped the feather near the card's bottom edge in VersaFine Black Onyx onto Papertrey Ink's Fine Linen CS.

My American Indian image is also stamped on Fine Linen and colored with Copic Markers. I then die cut with a Spellbinders' circle die and mounted it onto green and rust-colored die cut circles that were embossed/debossed with Gold Rounds One -- LOVE the texture these dies add! My card front is mounted to a rust card base with foam dots.

Hope you can join us for our Native American challenge!!!

We had similar ideas on using feather. Like your stamped featehr & image. The dies indeed compliment the Native American theme.

Great card, Marge! I think your SB die cuts make it look like an Indian Brave's shield. I really like that feather stamp, too!

Marge,
This card is a stunner. I love the dies you used too and the bottom one makes it look like terracota clay.

What an elegant card! I love the use of the die cuts and stacked one right on top of each other. Great colors too!
