My Sheri Crafts Challenge #118: Fall Colors

For our biweekly challenge at My Sheri Crafts we're asking you to create a project simply using Fall colors -- whatever colors/shades say "Fall" to you!

For my card I had to use burlap, which is currently the most appealing aspect of fall for me at this point as our hot desert summer drags on & we miss every rainfall by a few miles, making it difficult to think cool weather/fall colors! I LOVE burlap so I'm anxious to finish a wreath I started last year and actually use it!

This burlap ribbon with gold threads woven through was purchased last year @ Hobby Lobby. I merely fringed both ends and mounted my huge banner die cut atop it. 'Thanks' was a left-over 9-cent Michaels bargain from a couple years ago, cut apart to fit to the curve of my banner. Bo Bunny's 6x6" Apple Cider Collection was used for my card's BG, mounted onto Papertrey Ink's Fine Linen CS and  Spellbinders' Les Papillions butterfly was cut from Apple Cider text paper and inked with Wild Honey and Vintage Photo distress inks.  My 'go-to' Antique Linen adds definition to the banner and a flower from my stash finishes off this simple card.
