I love the glitz & glam of glitter, but NOT the mess. JustRite's challenge this week had us hauling out our vacuums! I still had a lot of fun working on this glittery project, a sweet photo of our daughter @ 20 months sitting on our bathroom counter in front of the mirror after I dried her hair. Starting with a 5 x 7 canvas panel from Michaels, I inked directly with Antique Linen & Tattered Rose Distress Inks, dabbing with a paper towel to remove excess ink. Martha Stewart's Brownstone glitter on Spellbinders' Classic Frame and Flourish Accent die cuts, a sheer brown bow and the very fitting "Cherish the Memories" sentiment from JustRite Stampers' Cherish the Memories Nested Sentiments and Verse easily made this memory one to enjoy forever!
Working with photos is a new concept for me, so I've started with small projects. I'm undecided whether I'll hang this alone or create two more panels to accompany it, but it was really fun and inexpensive to do !
