This month's challenge was to create a background. Even though I'm crazy busy spring house cleaning, this was sooooo much fun! I actually attempted a couple different backgrounds, but ended up liking this very simple background card best after using my favorite background (so far) and the individual circle & "flower" design from Background Basics: Retro. I stamped the background 3 times across my card and added the small circle stamp on top of every other circle-less flower design in Noir ink.Next I removed the gem from a felt chipboard accent flower from my stash, stamped the single "flower" in white Staz-On ink and reattached the gem. Lastly, I added the design once more in front of my sentiment in white Staz-on from Friends 'Til the End, added a gem in the center. Short & sweet!!!
